Neo, I'll have the PW with Jessie and Josh going soon. And I appologize for any spelling errors. Damn Word wouldn't work. >:o Oh, and I thought that I would let ya know that Clare was the one who wrote the note Marley made. ^_^;;] - Foratog5 PokeWars - "Putting The Pieces Back Together" - "Good Goddish," a nervous voice said. "Not another hospital bed." As she woke up, Kim found that she was also in a a hospital bed. She was breathing through a respirator. Kim looked to her side, and found that someone was sharing her room. Her vision was blurry, so she couldn't see what the person looked like. All she could tell was that the person was now looking at her. "Sarah..." The voice was now very weak, and even scared. When Kim tried to respond, a sharp pain shot up her chest. It hurt to breath, even through the respirator. "God, what did he do to me now," she thought. She was referring to her father. He had probably beaten her senseless again. Maybe even worse. As Kim was thinking about what her father could have done to her, a doctor walked into the room. "Ah, I see you two have awaken. Now Kim, you've got punctured lungs, so I'm sure you can't talk yet." "Uh.. Kim?!," Nick paniced. "But... who... what... where's Sarah?!" The doctor paused. "You're sister died last night. I'm sorry, Nick." Those words felt like a rusty dagger through his heart. "Oh.... god..." Nick whined as he started crying. "H-How did she... die?" The doctor paused for a moment. "Well, we don't really know. There was a witness who saw it all. He saw the guy attack Sarah. This person saw from a far that you were leaning over her, and she was bleeding. There was a guy and a girl, and the girl put the spear through you. Then the witness ran for help. Five minutes later, they find you passed out, but Sarah was gone." Nick erupted with anger. "Then how the hell can you say she's dead?!" "There's no way a person could servive a slash to the face from a sharp scythe and plumit into the cold ocean. She probably died from shock. If not that, then brain damage or severe loss of blood." His presise description made Nick's stomach turn. Although he had only known Sarah for a few months, he felt very close to her. He cared and loved her the most he did anyone. Anyone but one person. Just thinking about Jessie made Nick feel ten times worse. Words could not describe how he felt about her. Only one word could describe how he felt now, and that was heartbreak. Never in his wildest nightmares would he had thought that Jessie would try to kill him. "I need to take a blood sample," the doctor said, inturupting Nick's thoughts. "Oh jeez. Doesn't that need a needle?!," Nick quivered. "Of course," the doctor smirked. Nick spread his arms to his side, and they hung, shivering over the sides of the bed. "Don't worry," Kim struggled to say through the respirator. "It doesn't really hurt." She took her left hand out from underneath the sheets and grabbed ahold of Nick's hand. Nick's frown slowly rose to a small smile as he looked at Kim. "It's not the needle itself that bothers me," he said as the neddle went into his arm. "It's what comes after." The doctor drew the blood, removed the needle, and put a bandage on. "See? That wasn't so bad," Kim said. Then she could feel Nick's hand shake. "No," Nick weakly said. "Now is... the time when I... ehh... pass out..." And with that, he passed out. * * * * * <Sarah is alive, Nicholas..> "What?!" <Your sister is still alive., Nicholas.> "Wh-what??" <Your sister needs your help. You need to save her, Nicholas..> "..." <They want to hurt her, Nicholas.> "Wha-" <And you must prove your love to Jessie. You must save her too, Nicholas.> "Who are you?!" <You will find out in due time, Nicholas...> * * * * * When Nick woke up, he felt very light-headed. He always lost conciousness when he had to draw blood. But he never had such weird dreams like that. The first thing he notived was that Kim was still holding his hand. She was watching the television. Nick looked up at the clock, and figured out that she had been holding his hand for more than twenty minutes. His heart jumped. Already he felt like he was in love. As his vision came back to him, he looked at her. Yeah, she was beautiful alright. He liked her fine brown hair and her cute face. So beautiful that Marley had almost sliped his mind. Almost. He did remember what had happened at that party a few nights back. He was a druken fool, and made an ass of himself infront of Marley. He had probably lost all respect from her. But he still loved her. "Nick..." He looked at the doorway and was releaved to see Marley. "Hi!" Marley looked at Nick holding hands with Kim. She quietly walked over to the side of the bed and put a folded note on Nick's chest. Then, as she started to walk away, she pulled the plug on his life support system. He started shaking very violently in the bed, and his heartrate was flatlining. "We need help in here!," Kim shouted. The doctor stumbled in and quickly plugged back in the machinery. It took a few minutes for Nick to settle down. "Oh god, what... why...," Then he remembered the note. It had fallen down onto the ground while he was going into a spazm earlier. He picked it up, unfolded it, and read it... Screw you. I hate you. How dare you cheat on me with HER, that slut?! You were all I knew, Nick. You were the only thing I ever had. Now that you don't need me anymore, I don't need to live. Goodbye forever. Marley Immediatly he felt an emense pain in his chest. Was it from the injuries, or from heartbreak? But most of all, he was scared. Afraid that Marley would kill herself. He started sobbing and whining like a little baby. Kimberly took notice, how was still holding his hand. "Who was that?," she asked, while using one finger to stroke his hand. He looked at her with his wide, tear-filled eyes. "My, uh... well, I kinda thought she was like a girlfriend to me, but I guess not, I mean I made an ass of myself infront of her, and as you can see she doesn't even love me anymore and she wants me dead and nobody loves me anymore-" At this point, Nick was too choaked up to continue. Now Kim started to know how he felt. For her whole life, she's had nobody to love her. She wanted to tell him that she loved him. She knew it would make him feel better. But it was too soon for that. They had just met like thirty minutes ago. But they were still holding hands. And Kim did feel like she loved him. The doctor stepped into the room. "Kim, I have just gotten word that your father will come to visit in a few minutes." He left the room. Kim's heart jumped. "Please Nick, play along. Pretend I'm sleeping." "Why?" "Just do it!" "Ok," Nick said, as he started to let go of Kim's hand. "No," she said. "Please... keep holding me hand..." There was fear in her voice. "Umm... alright." As soon as Kim went into a sleeping position, a large, muscular, hairy, burly man entered the room. He had long, dirty brown hair and a not-so-closely shaved beard. He was wearing cheap black sunglasses. "Is this Kimberly's room?," he asked with a rough, boastful voice. Nick could feel Kim's hand start to shiver in fear. "Um, yeah," Nick replied. The man raised an eyebrow. "Why are you holding my daughter's hand?" Nick paniced, and Kim's hand started to shake even more. "Um, well, you see, she's asleep, and before she fell asleep, she had to take a blood sample, but she was scared, and wanted me to hold her hand, and of course, like the um, gentleman like I am, I did, and right afterwards, she feel asleep, and I won't let go because I don't want to wake her up, because she is very very tired." "You know she's only trying to make a move on you." "Huh?" "Yeah," her dad said. "I suggest you stay away from her. She's likes to sleep around. She's a bit of a slut." Nick was in total shock. He could feel Kim's hand clench into a fist. "Ummm... yeah... thanks for the advise, pal." "Yeah, well, I must be leaving." He left the room. "Jeez," Nick said. He looked at Kim, who had her back to him. "Are you Ok?" She was not Ok. Kim was crying very hard, but she didn't want Nick to know. She let go of Nick's hand. "Yeah, I'm Ok," she said, trying her best not to sound sad. "I'm gonna sleep now." "Ok," Nick said. He couldn't sleep now. Too much on his mind. Things about Jessie, Marley, his Pokemon, and now the situation between Kim and her father. Since Nick never had a family, he couldn't fully understand what was going on. He couldn't even think straight. There were a few things he did know, though. Jessie didn't love him. Marley didn't love him. They both want him dead. Sarah was alive. She was in trouble. He also knew he liked holding Kim's hand. And he knew he loved her. -- Atogy Si
