-The Lighthouse Of Danger, Part II-Episode 10
Blade's heart filled with anger as he saw Stephon standing next to Carmen.
"Blade was given an Abra," Stephon said to the present Team Rocket members,
"so we have to assume that he can escape at any time." The thought of
escape never occurred to Blade as he unsheathed his swords. He knew that he
couldn't take on all of the Team Rocket members, but he just wanted to take
out Carmen, Stephon, and save Bill. He sheathed his swords and decided to
see how this played out.
"What did you do with Bill's friend?" Carmen asked as she continued to point
the gun to Bill's head.
"I killed him," Stephon said with a smirk on his face, "Blade wanted me to
get him somewhere safe, but I knew what to do."
"You bastards!" Bill yelled as tears began to run down his eyes.
"Only speak when spoken to!" Carmen said as she hit him in the back of the
head with the gun, knocking him out.
"And since it's Father's Day, we put the same explosives at Blade's adopted
father's house," Stephon said as he took off his blood stained gloves.
"Did you hear me Blade?" Stephon asked as he looked across the room at
Blade, "I knew you were there the whole time." Blade came out from behind
the wall with his swords once again unsheathed.
"You think your gonna get away with this," Blade said as he looked at
Stephon, "I'll make sure my swords go through your spine." Four of the Team
Rocket members pointed guns at Blade, waiting for the signal to shoot.
"Put your guns down," Carmen said joyfully, "If he attacks, I'll just kill
Bill." Blade looked at the unconscious man, who was tied up, sitting on a
chair in front of Carmen. Blade put his swords away and put his hands up.
"How's your stomach?" Carmen asked, "Did the sword that I put through you
leave a bad scar?" Carmen began to laugh hysterically, while Stephon just
stood there with a smile on his face.
"Enough of this," Stephon said, "Tie Blade up so we can get out of here."
Blade was tied up and thrown on the floor right next to Bill. His weapons
and pokeballs were taken and put on the other side of the room.
"Its been fun," Stephon said, "I'll be sure to attend your funeral."
"Everybody out of here, we set the bomb for ten minutes," Stephon said as he
put the bomb next to Blade's weapons. Everybody began to walk out of the
lighthouse, except for Carmen.
"Goodbye, my love," Carmen said as she gave Blade a passionate kiss, "I'll
never forget you." Carmen walked out the door of the lighthouse, once again
laughing hysterically. They sealed the door to the lighthouse, leaving no
way out. Blade thought ahead for a scenario like this and he hid one of his
throwing stars behind his belt. It took him four minutes, but he cut the
rope that had him tied up. He then picked Bill up and walked over to his
weapons. He knew that there was too much valuable information to let the
lighthouse blow up, so he took the bomb, as well as his weapons and
Pokeballs. He saw that their was only five minutes and forty-three seconds
until the bomb was gonna blow up. He ran as fast as he could up the stairs
of the lighthouse. He began to feel the pain in his stomach and back once
again. As he got to the top of the lighthouse, he collapsed. Bill woke up
after hitting the hard, wet floor. It was raining even harder now, and the
lightning filled the sky.
"Are you ok," Bill said as he walked over to Blade. Blade slowly stood up
and walked over to the edge of the top of the lighthouse. He took the bomb
and was just about to throw it into the water, when he was punched in the
back. He let out a little scream and dropped the bomb.
"I gave you a chance to get away," Blade heard as he turned around and saw
Stephon, "I told you to escape with Abra, but you wouldn't do it." Stephon
punched Blade, and Blade fell to his knees.
"There is only one minute and twenty-nine seconds until the bomb goes off,"
Stephon said, "I can't let you stop me!" Blade tried to stand up, but felt
the pain in his stomach and back. He knew that his stitches had reopened
when he saw the blood on the stone floor underneath him. The thunder began
to intensify, as the rain began to come down even harder. Bill was once
again knocked unconscious from Stephon. Tears began to fill Stephon's eyes.
"You should have left," Stephon said softly, "You should have left so that I
wouldn't have had to kill you."
"Don't worry Blade," Stephon said, "At least we'll die together. You were
the best friend I ever had." The pain was too extreme for Blade, and he
couldn't move. All he could was lay there with his eyes closed.
"Fifteen seconds, Blade," Stephon said. Stephon began to countdown to the
explosion.
"We'll all die together. You, me, Bill, and Mesoshi," Stephon said as he
continued to cry. Blade's eyes opened as he heard the name of Mesoshi, his
foster father. He quickly stood up, with the countdown at four. He knew
what had to be done. He grabbed one of his swords and threw it at Stephon.
Silence filled the air as the sword sliced through Stephon's chest, piercing
his heart. Blade and Stephon starred into each others eyes. Stephon
tumbled backwards with the bomb in his hands, and fell off the side of the
lighthouse, into the cold ocean. The bomb went off as soon as they hit the
water. Blade slowly walked to the edge and looked over. He saw nothing
floating on the top of the water. He then walked to the other side and
threw his rope down. He grabbed Bill and climbed down to the bottom. Once
they reached the bottom, Blade fainted. Once Blade woke up, the rain had
stopped and the sun came out. Bill was standing at the door of his
lighthouse, repairing the damage that had been done. Blade stood up and saw
his sword washed up on shore. The blood of Stephon was still partially on
the sword. Bill wasn't paying attention to Blade, so Blade walked away
quickly. Blade walked to the Pokemon Center and called his foster father.
The phone was dead. Blade knew that he couldn't go check on him, and that
he could take care of himself, so Blade left Cerulean City and headed for
Vermilion City, with thoughts of his friend Stephon floating in his head.
I wanted to post this on Father's Day, but I spent the whole day with my
father and grandfather so I couldn't post it.
