"Hurry up!" Blade yelled as he ran through the path, "There isn't much
time."
"I'm coming," Stephon said tiredly, "I'm the one who's carrying all the
stuff."
As they were running through the path, Blade suddenly released his Pikachu.
"Pikachu, use your Thundershock attack into that tree," said Blade as he
pointed to a tree.
Pikachu used his Thundershock at a nearby tree, and a Pidgey fell from the
tree onto the ground.
"Good work, Pikachu," Blade said as he took out a Pokeball and through it at
the weakened Pidgey. After capturing the Pidgey, Blade recalled his Pikachu
and he and Stephon continued running towards Mt. Moon. It didn't take long
for them to reach Mt. Moon. As they reached the entrance of the cave, they
heard voices coming from within. Blade and Stephon stepped into a shadow
and began to listen to the voices.
"Where did it go?" yelled one of the voices.
"I don't k.THERE IT IS!" said another of the voices, "After it!"
The voices then disappeared into the darkness of the cave. ".I wonder what
their chasing," Blade said softly, "It cant be the Moon Stone."
Blade released his Pokemon and they all walked into the cave. They were
using Charmeleon's tail as light so that they can see through the cave. The
cave was dark and silent. The only thing that was heard was the crushing of
their feet onto the hard, rocky floor of the cave.
"Its going back towards the entrance," yelled a voice. Upon hearing this,
Blade told everyone to stand against the wall, while he stood in the center
of the path. They all heard tiny footsteps coming closer and closer. It
was obviously scared of whatever was chasing it, because it ran right into
Blade. With the light from Charmeleon's tail, they all saw that it was a
Clefairy that ran into Blade.
"Butterfree, use you Sleep Powder on the Clefairy," Blade said as he backed
away from Clefairy. Clefairy was put to sleep by Butterfree's Sleep Powder
and easily captured by Blade. Blade picked up the thing that Clefairy was
holding and realized that it was a Moon Stone.
"Hurry up," yelled the voice again, "It's getting away." Two men came
running through the cave, but stopped once they saw Blade.
"What are you doing here? Where is Clefairy?" said one of the men. Blade
just stood there with his eyes closed.
"Fine, if you won't answer me, we'll have to beat it out of you," said the
man as he threw a Pokeball, releasing a Machop.
"Machop, use your Low Kick attack," said on of the men.
"Chameleon, use your Slash attack," Blade said as tilted his head downward
with his eyes still closed. Charmeleon and Machop used their attacks
simultaneously and only one remained standing.Charmeleon.
"What?" said the trainer of the Machop as he recalled his Pokemon.
".Right between the eyes," Blade said softly.
"What? Whats that supposed to mean?" Said the man furiously. Blade raised
his hand into the air, with two throwing stars between his fingers, and
threw them at the two men. In less than a second, both throwing stars were
dug into their targets, right between their eyes.
".Lets go," Blade said as he took the throwing stars out from the two dead
men's faces. They continued to walk through Mt. Moon until they reached the
exit.
"Have you found the Moon Stone yet?" Blade heard through the receiver in his
ear.
"Not yet, Chief," said Blade, "but I think I know how to find it."
Blade released the sleeping Clefairy, and after using an Awakening on
Clefairy, they quickly followed Clefairy up a path. Clefairy led them to a
cave where many Clefairy and Clefable danced around a pile of Moon Stones.
Blade, Stephon, and all Blade's Pokemon stared in amazement as they watched.
Blade's Clefairy walked up to one of the Clefable, and after a few quick
words, walked to the pile of Moon Stones. Clefairy grabbed as many Moon
Stones as he could and carried them to Stephon, where Stephon put them all
in Blade's bag.
"I found the Moon Stone," Blade said as he turned on his microphone.
"That's great Blade," said the Chief, "Where is it?"
".It was destroyed," Blade said softly, "It was destroyed while I was
battling Team Rocket."
"What!" the Chief yelled, "Are you sure?"
"Yes Chief, I'm positive," Blade said as he recalled all of his Pokemon.
".Ok Blade, just get going towards Cerulean City, you'll have to earn a
badge there," the Chief said.
"Why did you tell him that the Moon Stone was destroyed," Stephon said.
".I'm not sure," said Blade, ".My instincts told me not to tell him." Blade
and Stephon took one last look at the Moon Stone and all the Clefairy and
Clefable, and walked out of the cave and towards Cerulean City.
